HOFA - SYSTEM Basic

The full version of SYSTEM contains 31 modules, and Basic only lacks one of those; the Macro Pitch module. 15 of the remaining 30 modules function exactly as they do in the full version, whilst 15 of them operate under some kind of limitation. For example, the AlgoVerb reverb plug-in comes with only one plate algorithm, and the compressors come with fixed ratio and release values. The parametric EQ comes with only one band – but you can chain a number of these together to emulate a multi-band EQ.

As well as the EQ, compressor and reverb modules, there are delay, distortion, panning, gate, gain, and other effects, as well as a set of tools that allow for multi-band processing, parallel processing, M/S splitting and more. The plug-in comes with more than 150 presets too. You can utilise these to quickly gain an understanding of the wide variety of ways in which SYSTEM Basic can be used.
