Either starting from 20Hz to 20000Hz, or visa-versa. This will allow the listener to quickly lock their ears into the frequency spectrum. Similar with the stereo games, have a left-to-right panned sound, so you can get an idea of how big the stereo field is prior to playing a game. For example, when I first start a stereo or EQ game, it takes me a few attempts to be able to focus my ears. I just played EQ Mirror with the sound of an electric guitar. I was told that my EQ wasn't good enough to pass, since there was a huge low cut in the EQ setting (that I had not applied). However, this no one would have been able to hear, since the low cut was below the frequency spectrum of the guitar. I found that it was near impossible to select a name from the dropdown and get it to update the text in the comment (it happened once, but I couldn't get it back). If the person's name has a space and I type it out, it may or may not turn red to indicate that it put in the person's reference. It feels like the @mention system could be more reliable. I tried it in Chrome and Safari.
