Hello everyone!
After a while doing nothing I felt inspired by an illustration and thought of doing some lil' experiment. So now I am curious to receive some constructive critic, especially being the first rime I produce something with Ableton Live (which I'am learning to appreciate everyday more) and given the fact that I am not a producer but really more of a player/instrumentalist.
I love to take inspiration from images when it comes to create music. I strongly believe that blending arts is the highest form of art. It strengthens emotions, helping us finding our easy-to-lost sensibility once again.
So I felt immesurably inspired by this illustration by Giovanni Esposito (@gio_quasirosso on IG) and I threw myself in the making of this "narration", in which I hope to add depth to the drawing.
I worked thinking about the elements in the image, starting from that piano-bass and some atmospheric sounds to portrait the background, the darkness that gently cuddles the girl. The tremolo-piano to me is the light of the candles and the sounds you hear scattered around are the purple-vibe to the whole illustration.
Thanks for your time 😊
