Here's my version of Ruby Roads - Rat Race
Lately I've been very busy moving and I can't always participate in this challenge. Last night I took the time to quickly mix this mix. in my opinion the voice in this song is very lifeless - and this is a sleep problem!! The drum is programmed very well, I liked the idea of the bass guitar and the bass synth, I didn't like the recording of the guitars, the piano was recorded in a very strange way. the whole arrangement raises many questions ((( in my opinion it is especially difficult to do something with this vocal, I didn’t succeed, I’m not happy with the result. I can’t say anything about how correctly I put together the transients, space and lo-end of the mix, since I only mixed with headphones. but the good news is that my house has a basement and I will try to make a control room there))
