I tried to brighten up the snare and added some compression. Especially on the instrument and drum busses i added more compression. I also side-chained the instrument bus to duck down a bit when the vocal comes in. For me, the mix sounds better now but i wonder if the compression might be too much.

Hi Everyone ,, thanks for your comments. I re -introduced the low end generally on the bass and the whole final mix..

@Jeremy Munns The second mix is an improvement to the first mix! Personally i still miss something in the low end, especially in the bass guitar. For example: on 1:20 some notes seem to drop away almost completely. I suggest checking where this comes from.
