Here is this weeks mix..Sonnet And Alcohol - “Back To The Nineties”
A lot of tidying up i did on the drums and vocal .. to help.
OH's were out of phase , correcting that was a big help for me

A Lot of compression on everything .. probably too much

Wanted to create depth with reverbs,...again probably over did it !!

Hi Jeremy,
I do not think reverb is too much here. It sounds a bit noisy, maybe because of hard compression and puting up the output gain the noise became stronger. I think the drums need a little bit of work, too. But nice mix :))).

In general, a good mix, only if you remove the turbidity a little and give a little more reverb, then in my opinion it will become even better

Nice mix! I like the drum sound that you got out of it. I did not expect this could be achieved with this recording. But sometimes it feels like bleed is suddenly appearing.
I also hear the noise (hum) of the bass guitar at the quiet moments. Probably because of compression?

HI Anne.. Yes a lot of compression the bass, i should have de-hummed it using RX . I used Gated reverb on them drums which help beef them up.. Thanks for listening

Hey Jeremy, the mix is a bit congested and on the dark side, for me and I feel like it could be more glued.. nice mix! ;P

Nice man. I like it but I am getting more of the 200-400 ish poking out of the mix. The boxy area. If I had to guess it sounds like there's too much 200-300 ish in the bass gtr and perhaps too much 130-220 on the snare with not enough (touch of) 3500k, 8000k, and 10k on the snare to even it out. This in turn will mask the kick too, which sounds like what's happening to me. Food for thought.

Hey @Jeremy Munns , Others have noticed the congestion. To me, it sounds like you've just been heavy handed with the compression.
