Hello all!
As I seem unable to write a song at the moment I figured I may need some mixing practice in the mean time.
I have only mixed a few electronic tracks with synths, drum machines and vocals before. Never tried my hand at this genre nor mixing studio recorded stems.

Anyway, here's my take on Eyes by Chad Hollister Band.

Thanks in advance for your input! I'm here to learn so don't hold back.

Hey Magnus! I was listening to your mix. I think it sounds good, everything sits nicely in the mix :)

Hey Magnus, welcome to the mixdown training room! Good job! For me the lows could be more defined, I'd like to hear more kick and I'd turn down a bit the reverb on the snare to make it cut through the mix, the mandolin on the right side when play together with the horns tends to congest the overall sound ;P

Hey Magnus, a pretty good mix, especially if you don't normally deal with acoustic instrumentation! As Magghy said, I'd love to hear more kick, and maybe a slightly brighter snare, and that the mandolin is a bit boxy. All in all, well done!
