Good morning everyone!
Here’s my version of Magician’s Nephew – “Get Out Of Bed”

Like the last song, I really enjoyed mixing this project and my main focus was exactly the same, highlight the groove and the arrangement, working on the interaction between the lead vocal and the guitars, the drum kit and the bass, the hammond track and the guitars.. then as always I used reverbs, delays, a bit of chorus/flanger to add movement and glue all the instruments together ;P

Hey! Good mix! As you can see from my mixes, I like vocals to be closer))
I think you could try to get more groove by working on the compression on the bass and drums bus.

Hi Magghy! I don't agree with Vlad;)) I think vocal is better sounds when little far (in this genre). And your drums is perfect and I agree with Vlad, maybe group compression (bass and kick) will does this mix is better.
And rhythm gitar lot for me.

And again, listening your mix I hear many mistakes in my mix ;((

Nice mix Magghy! I like the overall balance of your song!!!. I think that this mix lacks the energy from the drums for this kind of song but this is only my own preferences maybe more aggressive parallel compression will help. Thank you!

Hi @MAGGHY JI, nice one! I like how the solo at the end really pops out. For me the snare could have a little bit more body.
I like how you balanced the bass in the verses ;)
