Hi Mathias, very low gain in your mix, i have to crack up my monitors to have a good listen. But if i do so, i like your drum and vocal sound, guitars could be a lot more present for me. But that's exactly what you didn't want, so just a different aproach! Let me know what you think of my 'crazy loud' version... haha

Hey Mathias, nice mix! The kick is too strong and too clicky for me, I think because of the room mic.. the guitars could be louder in order to give more energy to the song.. ;P

Mathias I haven't read the comments above yet but I can only think that everyone mentioned how loud the vocals are. They are pretty loud overall. The mix is good but also for me it's leaning slightly left because of the guitars. In such a tough and challenging mix the only thing that one can do is to go to the LCR system. Clear out the middle and hope for the best. Good job.

Hey @Mathias Horn , Nice job. The snare has a very papery sound to it. Try flipping the polarity on the Snare mic. That might bring back its body.

Vox are definitely on the loud side. With rock songs, the vocals should sit in the mix so that you're getting a sense that they are just getting over the power of the band.
