How do you guys deal with the frustration/negative feelings when continually failing a game? I love the practice and I can tell I'm learning every day... but man sometimes I just get irritated... anybody else?

Absolutely! I think everyone has good days and bad days. And sometimes it feels like you're going nowhere. What I've found is just keep going. If you keep at it you will move forward.

Train your resilience. Do not avoid any exercise (I only have access to 3 here) because you find it difficult. Try to maintain a daily routine of exercises here or on other websites/softwares. Download some stems online and start manipulating them in a DAW of your choice.

Some days I'm tired and my ears don't work. Other days I feel great and smash through it.

The victory is that I showed up and tried it seriously.

Having done Tai Chi for many years there's a saying that the most progress happens when you're not noticing it.

The time you notice an improvement is backed up by countless hours of time you didn't notice you were improving.
