It would be great if in the sound selection icons in the games there was an import track option so you could practice on your own or familiar mixes. not sure how possible that is to code into the site though.
use your own computer for your lil charades 😂 servers cost space, logistics, and money 💵 unless you're ready to cough up more money to accomodate your fantasies and, to enjoy these perks 😃 i'd suggest use your DAW for these experiments.
wow.. thanks for your response.. sorry I triggered u with a brain fart... I even mentioned I dont know how possible it is in a coding sense.. would be happy to pay for a feature like that.. Sorry to anger you..😂
I'm a software developer with 12 years of professional experience building this kind of thing, and I don't get what LMQ is being so dismissive about. It would obviously have to be a cost/benefit analysis as with any new feature. It doesn't even necessarily need to go into a higher price if the upside is high enough in terms of making the site more compelling.
Assuming the site does processing via a script util or similar it is perfectly reasonable to import and process the audio client-side. If that's the case it is neither difficult nor expensive to implement. If processing is done server-side it could be reasonable to consider a small extra fee for bandwidth costs, but we're still talking peanuts. servers cost space, logistics and money is not a relevant comment, and does not relate to this feature implementation unless everything is pre-rendered server-side, which would be very cost-ineffective on the developers part (and honestly more difficult to implement to begin with).
