Life is tough in higher levels 😅

I know we are here to get better and hone our skillsssss... stiiiiiilllll, SPI points are cool.

How come I pass a game (get to the next level) and do not get any of my 3 best scores, which to my understanding, is what awards you SPIs ??? (this screeenshot was taken right after I passed Compressionist from 36 to 37 😥)

Same thing a few days ago with EQ Mirror from 42 to 43.

Any insights ?

Not sure but I feel like the score varies depending on how much life points you finish the game with? For ex if you complete the lvl with only 1 life left (2 mistakes), your score will be lower than if you complete the lvl with all 3 life left (0 mistake)
EQ mirror is different because it's percentage rated so the score will definitely vary depending on how much % you get in each lvl... the more you progress and the more you have to get 70+% in each lvl to actually beat your previous score (even if you still pass with 50+%)

Also, your final scores per level is impacted by # of lives left, accuracy, etc. Personal example, my top scores in Dr. Compressor achieved with no lives lost. So, I now pass a level and lost 1 or 2 lives, the score will not likely be high enough to be in the top 3.

That's how TOPIC by Hamsini & Smahi Kaushik (PHOOLZ) happened. Hamsini takes the first verse, Smahi takes the second, and both are about the same thing: life as a book, and finding the topic of your own story. The line at 1:48 sums it up. Maybe every page we turned, was leading somewhere strong.
