Well, it still has that 96kbps metallic sound like an MP3 coded in 1999, but that just means that we're about 10 years or less away from being obsolete. Possibly less because technology seems to advance much more rapidly these days. And I totally agree with Yoni's point about soul, but honestly the majority of people don't care. If you want proof of that, just look at the Top 20... any Top 20. And listen to Tik Tok music. Ffffing hell.
Sorry friends, enjoy it while you still can. AI is going to destroy the fun in every art form, and probably in every human endeavour that exists. But hey, we'll still have commerce to medicate away the boredom. Buy more stuff! Take more pharmaceuticals! Watch more reality TV! Music industry have a big part of commercial music made with samples etc.. and a lot of people enjoy this music. A.I. can eventually replace this part one day.
