Hey.
Am I the only one with this bug ? The EQ in EQ Knight would not appear. I can right click - open image in a new tab and I can see it, but it's pretty annoying doing so for every sound. I can hear the samples alright tho.
I'm using latest firefox on latest windows 11, all up to date.

I can see no error in the Javascript console, nor in the network tab of the firefox devs' tools.

Do not hesitate if you need more info

Working fine for me on Win10PRO with Chrome, probably best to open support ticket at https://www.soundgym.co/support/index

Perhaps try a different browser and see if the problem persists. That might help to narrow it down.

Hey Rachel, here are my notes.
I think the kick & snare are overpowering the vocals. There's too much crack (high end) for the snare, try EQ it or audition with other snare samples. The sub bass is too much which I don't think it compliments the vocals. I would try to find some other bass sounds that can fill up the frequencies between 100 - 200hz.
The vocals are missing some really important information at mids to high mids which are for clarity and also ultra highs for a bit of shimmery/expensive sound. Adding reverb on the vocals I think can serve the spacey/laid back/reverby vibe of the song pretty well too. The BGVs could benefit to sit forward in the mix as it is quite burried.
The arpeggio sound is very low in volume, I think it can come up more as I can barely hear it.
These are the main issues I'm hearing. Take only what you need and also let's see what others think about it.
Hope this helps and would love to hear the full song once it's done.
Congrats @Woranat Vichit-Vadakan for winning the Golden Ears Award!

Hey everyone, I just started using Sound Gym and I'm running into something weird with the Pan Girl game.

When I play through my MacBook's built-in speakers, I can pick out the panning position pretty easily. But when I switch to my external speakers, everything sounds like it's sitting dead center.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it a speaker placement thing, or am I missing something obvious? Any tips would be appreciated.

My speaker setup:
MacBook -(USB)- Fosi ZD3 DAC -(XLR)- Fosi ZA3 Amp - Speakers
profile
Hello! It sounds like somewhere in your signal chain, your stereo image is being summed to mono. Since it works fine on your MacBook speakers, we know the source (SoundGym/Browser) is outputting a stereo signal correctly.
The Fosi ZA3 has a physical toggle switch on the front panel that allows it to operate in Mono (Subwoofer/Monoblock) mode or Stereo mode.
Ensure the switch on the front of the ZA3 is set to Stereo. If it’s set to Mono, the amp will sum the incoming XLR signals and output the same signal to both speakers, effectively killing your pan positioning. Try this! Good look ! 🙌💿

Good point, that is the first thing I checked and my ZA3 is set to stereo. Also, I believe the ZA3 in Mono would send power to one of the speakers only. Anything else I might be missing?

Power cycled the DAC and AMP, the stereo works as expected now. 🎉
