A click is a digital metronome giving the tempo to the musicians. As far as I know you can find one in every DAW. It helps people playing in rhythm but sometimes you loose some natural human micro variations which can give a nice groove feeling.
Wahey! I've been on hard times so this is a big win for me at the moment. I'd love it if anyone was to have a listen to any of my music. Feel free to say hello, drop a comment or send feedback. All the love 🙏❤ https://soundcloud.com/cynicalhippy
Any tips for Dr. Compressor? I'm usually pretty decent at it with a drum set, but I keep getting bongo sounds, and my accuracy seems to be a coin toss at this point.
Yes, the bongos are hard. First tip, you can choose which sound plays by clicking on your preference before you start. Tip on the bongos, listen for how the hit lingers instead of the focusing on the transient. The more compressed bongo hit will ring out longer than the less compressed bongo hit and the result is it sounds slightly brighter (at least to my ear).
