Hi everyone :)
I just published my first track online and I'm looking for some brutal feedback! I'm new to production & mixing and would like to improve so don't be afraid to be harsh with me! 😇

What lovely music! =D melody chords and the bass together are irresistible, and the little robotic voice is perfectly balanced. The length is just right and the structure keeps you listening from start to finish – well done, an excellent first release! 💞💞💞💞💞

I think the low end needs a bit of eq, maybe reduce the volume on the main keys, but very nice track.

hey there I thought it is a great track too :) I agree with Alan, volume too high on some elements, I think it needs a bit of eq on the low end too, may be around the 150 / 200, all the best

Hi lukasz, eq the vocals as well, it will create more space between them and the instruments

I think the drums need more brightness, because as it stands now, they get lost in the mix; the hi-hat isn't audible or isn't there at all, and the cymbals are muted, when their whole purpose is to stand out with their brightness. Since the drums are the rhythmic foundation that brings the song to life, I think they should have more presence; the bass drum and snare should dominate the center, especially considering that the vocals are spread out to the sides most of the time. I really like the spatiality you achieved with the ambient effects.

Thanks Alex i I will try brighten drums a little, maybe a little more saturation too?

How Judas Priest Wrote Metal's Blueprint in Eight Minutes
A nearly 8-minute track from 1975 is trending again because producers keep dissecting its dynamics, dual-guitar architecture, and clean vocal production and still can’t fully explain why it hits so hard. If you’re producing right now, this breakdown shows exactly how tempo restraint, contrast, and arrangement choices create impact without relying on speed or heavy processing.
