@Ron Allen playing the challenges has helped my skills, but in my case I would say not more than the workouts. I do play the challenges, it's fun and engaging, but I focus more on the workouts.
As Cindy said, the challenges are completely unrelated to the SPI.

Only training sessions require rigor, whereas competitions demand no commitment or investment.

If there is one useful strategy imo, it is precisely that of cultivating what makes you different.

@Stelios Mavroyiannis Yes, it's really strange. I usually play SpacaPan two or three times, and no matter how many misses I make in the starting phase (sometimes two or even three), I always end up with 101. And yes, there are a few extra lives. Maybe it's a mental block.
But it’s just a game. Right now, I’m looking forward more to my next song, which is currently in the works. Still, it’s always fun here at SoundGym, and there’s always an incentive to improve. It’s a shame we all live so far apart; it would be so great to meet you all in person.

@Helmut Mair that's interesting. Yet it's amazing how consistently you make it to 101! I sometimes arrive at 90 without a miss, and still don't make it to 101! 😂
Not only it is just a game, it's also one that probably doesn't make much difference in the real world! It's fun though.

Yes, it would be great to meet SoundGymmers in person! Perhaps a meet-up should be arranged at some point, but I don't know who will come as we are spread all over the globe. 😅
