Hello Everyone. I have been working on mixing and mastering this Lo-Fi track and would enjoy some opinions. I have a main question though and that is if anyone could help me figure out what is causing this higher ring/jingle frequency every time the kick hits. Any and all help would be appreciated thank you.

Hm! That's a really odd sound to get from a kick! I'm hearing it mostly out of my right speaker. Hard to say what could be causing it. My thoughts are 1) did you try a low pass filter on the kick? Sounds to me that most of the kick asides from the jingle is fairly low frequency, so probably no harm in filtering out those high freq's and seeing if that fixes it. 2) is it going into a reverb or anything like that? It doesn't sound like it to me, but sometimes a kick going into a verb can cause something like that. 3) if neither of the other two things help, perhaps something is going on with clipping - look into any limiters used etc? Track meters clipping etc?

Just listened again this time in headphones - if I'm hearing what I think you're referring to, it may also be a high freq sound in one of the ambient texture tracks you've got in there that is layering with the kick? Sounds like a high freq vinyl crackle or something? Can try soloing some stuff/muting stuff to identify what it could be. If it's that and you don't want it, you could try to low pass filter it a bit?

Track sounds nice though! Very chill & relaxing (:

Thank You! I have a feeling it could be caused by the kick passing through some of the other sounds. I have a low pass filter already on it and there isn't any reverb on the kick. I can playing with some of the higher frequency sounds and the limiting and compression settings. Thank you very much for your feedback!!! I am incredibly thankful to have a space like this to gain perspective and insight. Highly appreciated!
