Hello friends!!! Recently I worked in sound design and music for a video mapping, and this is one of the tracks that I made for the project... I'd like to get some feedback about the mix and master...thanks!!!
Hi Eli :) nice project! Nice voices! At first listen, I feel that the percussions slightly cover the kick... I would try with a sidechain compression with the kick. However the kick comes out little, try to bring it slightly forward, not much (for this style) but try not to let it get lost in the mix. Good work :)
@DJ Astrofreq thank you!!! it is really nice to hear that!! I will love that you would play some of my music in your gigs!! unfortunately this tracks were made for a jobs and I'm not sure if it's possible because the copyright. But one of the goals to this year is create some much personal music and I'll have you in mind if you like some of the new tracks ;)
Eli !!! I love the intro, I really like it and also how the percussion starts. Now I can hear the break between the percussion and the kick. Great job!!! The break is also nice and then how it starts again. You did a great job, congratulations! Maybe on the high frequencies you gave a little too much air... slightly, nothing too bad... but you could try to lower it by 2 or 3 DB and glue everything on the master bus with slightly more compression, but not much with an SSL (style) bus compressor... even if, I repeat, I really like how your work sounds now :)
Really nice, love the vibe. I like both of your versions, and for my thoughts, Beats can be less weight and lower in level, Intro might need more and wider ins in the transition before vocal pronounce, vocal can be lower in level, more effects and automation, just in my opinions. Good work :)
Hi. I think Luan is right. Vocals are to loud. But I don't feel the beats to weighty/loud. All together it's frankly good.
3 props
