Hey Guys, I need your help!

I've got this mix as far as i can take it and i don't think it's too bad, but it still feels a bit 'off' to me. I feel it's maybe bright but a bit harsh in either the heavy guitars or piano, or maybe it's that the bass isn't quite right, or it could be really anything obviously that i can no longer hear, i just know it can sound better. I'm due to release it this summer with my band. Let me know how to improve it

I really like the idea of this song, I just felt like I wanted the vocals more up front, that is louder. But that´s just my feeling. I hope you find the last tiny improvements. Great job so far ! 👍

I like your mix James. Here are few points I would do to the mix though:
1 - I would remove like 2 to 3dB of 3kHz from the whole instruments so that it would leave more room for the vocals to pop in the mix;
2 - I think that mainly in the chorus the guitars are too loud and a little harsh. So maybe decreasing their volume by like 2 or 3dB could be beneficial. You could also use some plugins like Soothe2 to control some undesirable frequencies to pop in the highs;
3 - Maybe I would put just a little bit more compression in the mixbus to glue the mix a little more.

That's my personal feeling, I hope it helps 😀

I agree with Rabea. I love the track. I do think it would really have more impact if the lead vocals were louder and brighter.
