Hi all! Man from the 1900s again. Please have a listen this toe-tapper from 1982. Dating a teacher can be inspiring and fun. Mastering is next so if I've missed anything at all in the mix at all sock it to me. Thanks much!!
Hi! Cool song! And much work done allready. What I feel is guitars too much on your face. They are competting with vocals. Try to cut some 2-5kHz on them (or decrease their volume) a couple dBs. Cheers!
Hey Michael! Cool song! Great energy. It seems the band had fun playing!!
I like the effect of the acoustic guitar panned hard left/right in the beginning but when the rest of the band comes in the guitar sounds a little bit disconnected.
Maybe automate the panning and make it less wide when the whole band is playing or put the piano or the second voice a little more to the outside of the stereo field.
@Christian Piller - thanks for the tips - I like it and will try tomorrow AM. Funny thing though... it's not a band at all. It's just cranky old me playing with himself on the internet one last time. Same for all my stuff.
@Szymon Wylandowski - it's so funny about the guitar 1.5db too loud. I somehow felt they needed a bit more so... yeah, I'm putting it back the way it was. Thanks Buddy.
