Sounds really cool. This may be a personal taste thing but I thought the distorted bass sound stuck out a bit wide in the stereo image and took my attention away from the other elements of your song.
Interesting fusion of elements. Track has a lot of presence to my ears in the distorted synth part and a few of the other string and percussion elements. I would probably try to tame that distorted synth a bit more but it seems it's a pretty busy track and even with the filtering you've used it feels a little flat/not dynamic after I listen a while. This may be due to the arrangement but I do think that mixing can help add depth and variety to a track that keeps the listener's attention. Good luck with it and nice job so far.
Craig, do you mean i used too less velocity on drums or too less change/automations on my melodies, or do you mean my macro loudness/fullness which is nearly always at peak?
I mean the arrangement is thick, full so there is very little space or chance for a breathe and this makes the track feel less dynamic. Musical comment, not technical. The macro loudness is another indicator of this but when using limiters it will be hard to assess the arrangement's dynamic/energy flow if the track is always crushed/flattened to be super loud. Hope that helps. @Arthur Reich
