Hi guys! Here’s my version of Street Noise – Revelation for me it was a difficult track. it was hard to cope with drums, I lacked interesting space and readability. I made a fake drum room and additionally used an eventide 2016-stereo room reverb. bass guitar and vocal did not cause any difficulties. for the vocal I used a capitol records chamber reverb and a regular slapback delay. the guitars had to be heavily saturated to give them character. For the master chain I used a SSL bass compressor, a manly passive massive EQ and an ozone maximizer. as always, I only mix with headphones. I will be glad for any advice
Hey Dzianis, well done! For me the vocals could be lowered and the reverb could be reduced just a touch, especially on the drum kit, where it's causing a bit of resonances (on the kick).. ;P
Hi Dzianis ! Interesting version, it seems like you mixed a metal song with 70 s stuff . It is a good mix, I just think it is funny listening to this song with trig like drums and -8 LUFS super compressed and limited audio haha. especially for a mix version. But it is still a good mix!
