Hi folks. Here's my version of comfort lives in belief.

Honestly I almost didn't do this weeks mix, the material was so poor which is a shame because I really like the era and style being emulated. In the end I did put a few hours in to at least make a submission to the group.

I made judicious use of the mute button here to change the arrangement into something I was happier to listen to. I know this outsteps the remit of mixing but it didn't seem to have any direction so I quickly gave it some (wouldn't do this in a real world situation)

It was pretty quickly done but my aim was to create some balance between these conflicting instruments while embracing the rabbley, play as you feel, style of arrangement

Thanks for listening guys. Can't wait to hear what others have made of this song

Just noticed I've lost the SFX track somewhere along the process so that'll be going in for revision

Thanks for the feedback Jesai. Honestly I agree with you. I didn't give this much care and I'm a bit embarrassed having seen how much goodness other people got from the track. There will be a review of this one so could you let me know if it's the intro and the first verse that don't work for you or just the first verse?
