Hi Everyone, I'm new to SoundGym ! I've Try to mix the song Kat Wright - "Contact".
It's the first time that I'm mixing so much tracks that I haven't recorded or created. It was quiet hard not to know where to go without direction. So I've done with my own purpose.

I've suppressed some drum lines to make them sound more clear. I'm not happy of the result of the voice track. I would have like it more in the font and with more air. But it's a beginning 😊

Hi Laurent! In my listening environment vocals are a little bit too prominent, but the other elements sound good to me. Cheers!

Hey Laurent, I agree with Totonno,vthe lead vocal could be lowered a bit to fits better into the mix, and the overall sound seems boxy to my ears.. nice one!

Hi, Laurent B, the mix might be good but you put it in a weird space. It sounds like they're playing on stage in a college hall and we hear a lot of bad reflections off the walls. If you fix this, then perhaps the snare will sound less sluggish.
