Hi Magghy, Very nice mix! I like your vibe and your lively feel, nice and open. Kick could have a bit more low bottom for me and I think the guitars could have some more power, feel a bit restrained to me.;) But cool mix!

Really great balance on the instruments throughout the mix! I like how each instrument is given its own time and place to showcase its elements when the time comes. I really liked the tone you got on the bass as well it really drives the song well! I also agree with the comments about the kick/snare being the only elements of the mix that don't quite work for me.

In original tracks I found that the snare was tuned low and the kick lacked bottom end, I had to do a bit of work to get them to both punch through in their own way. In your mix I feel like they both have a little too much punch and poke out a bit more than everything else. That being said in the reference mix for this track the kick does have a very pronounced punch.

Did you happen to process the drums to have a more prominent attack? After some more listening the toms sound really punchy as well!

Hey Magghy ! Sorry to kick in late... Very nice mix to my taste. I like the placement of the instruments but mostly the bass sound, you really nailed it there. Even though the drums are very present, they could be more energetic. As some others put it, the snare feels a bit dry for the song. Nice going !
