Hello guys!
Here’s my version of The Butterfly Effect – “Fairytale”
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cZwUPrMmiUPXvhKHkUsPwU21iTPVxCG4/view?usp=sharing

I mixed this song underlining the emotional, kind of nostalgic feelings, using different types of reverbs and delays and giving importance to the vocals, the guitars and the drums.. This track reminds me a little the Placebo style/sound (Hang on to your IQ, especially) and I wanted to convey pretty much the same atmosphere ;P

Hi Magghy, good mix, well balanced. Vocals sound great. If anything, I'd like an overall small cut around 320 Hz in the louder parts, but that might be personal preference.

Hey Magghy, Loved the mix! The use of reverbs and delays are beautiful, very atmospherically. Only thing I would mention is some of the layered guitar parts could be a bit louder and the overheads get a bit sharp especially towards the end of the song, and they sorta come out of nowhere so it kinda sneak attacks ur ears. A dynamic resonance suppressor such as soothe around the sharp frequency could fix it or a dynamic EQ could do the trick as it only occurs towards the end of the song whereas for the rest of the track its fine.

hey Magghy, I love to bass tone and how it stays glued down - it really shows off the playing :)

Hi Magghy . Nice balance of instruments and reverbs .. Just the whole thing lakes presence, though , this was the case with the recording of some of the instruments :-)
