Here is my mix of Guarna - "Orson Welles".

Only had sometime today to work on this..
Had fun with the KICK and bass ,, using compressor on the bass with kick side chain to duck the bass by 1dB.
Also added of the same to the synths to help them pump more ..

I turned several of the stereo tracks into mono as its a club style track

Played around with different delays and reverbs on the vocals .. also some heavy compression on the vox and BV's

Slight SSL compression on the MIX bus

Thanks for listening :-)

Hi!
There are a lot of problems with balance
I want to draw your attention to the fact that the voice is pushed into the background and the bass is in the foreground. You've practically muted all the other instruments
If I were you, I would remove all the effects and concentrate on the balance

it's lacking groove so play a bit more with the comp settings to make it swing with the beat. Next to balance as mentioned, perhaps add some more clarity to the vocals and reduce compression?

Hi, I wish that this track could be improve in the overall balance. It feels like I'm listening to the mono mixcube. I don't want to sound harsh so I suggest you to listen to one reference track while mixing to get the idea of how a balance song should be. Mixing is the process of learning and my mix sounded like this too when I started mixing. Cheers!
