Hi everyone!

I'm excited to share my version of Saert Skarn – Når Du Ser Mig I Øjnene with you all. I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I enjoyed creating it. Let me know what you think!

I really liked the Vibe of this one. I thought the vocal would fit a bit more grit so I trampt it through a Marshall amp and blended it in.

Smartphone speaker feedback today. Good vocal EQ and level. Bass could use a touch more saturation for small speakers. Good vocal/guitar balance on the breaks. Reverb is there, but not too obvious. I like it. Good volume automation on the lead guitar. As I get further into the song, I’m thinking the arpeggiated guitar could come down a little overall. Drums sound pretty good on a little speaker. Cymbals are a touch overwhelming. Quiet section is excellent. I like that you left in all the vocal bits. I thinks that adds to the song. Good build out of the quiet sections - drums are sounding more controlled. Toms might be a little quiet in isolation and with the kit and the snare could maybe use a teensy bit more bottom mic. This mix overall sounds really good on a little mono phone speaker. Nice work!

I like your treatment of the vocals! Overall mix seems like it's missing a lot of the low and high frequencies - like it's being played through small speakers or run through a band-pass filter. I think it might be overcompressed too but hard to tell without the whole frequency spectrum
