Hello everyone ! Today I finished mixing this wonderful song. Please listen and evaluate my work, I will be grateful to you. Regarding the drum kit not separated by different soundtracks - of course it is inconvenient, but we beginners need to learn how to work with different material. I do mastering from the very beginning together with mixing, so I post one version. ================================================ Glenn Mc Phee - “A Sailor Once More” https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N5fonRVm65uK3QsPYa-7Opql9fJPuKzv/view?usp=sharing
Hey Serzh, good mix! I hear a bit of confusion on the low-mids, the bass especially, seems too strong for me, and tends to hide the vocals, vocals that could be more present.. ;P
Hi Serzh, nice mix but i think that the high frecuencies, especially on the hi-hat were a little too high but in general, the balance of the mix was great for me.
Hey @SERZH MUSIC, Great Mix. The verb on the backing vocals dominates the space towards the end of the song. There is a midrange build-up, maybe think about thinking out some elements to create some more space.
Thank you so much for your feedback ! Because of the online translator, I'm not quite sure I understood you exactly. Did you mean that the backing vocals are louder than the main vocals at the end of the music ?
If you mean the artistic component of my information, then this is one thing If you think I made a technical mistake, then this is different I would like to understand exactly )
Hey Serzh, really solid mix! I enjoyed it and think you did a great job with balance/volume etc... I do think the bass is a bit buried at points and probably being masked by something. I feel like I've typed this comment out a lot for a few of these mixes but the acoustics may be the culprit, they play throughout the entire song with the bass so they're probably responsible.
Thank you very much! I will definitely take into account all the comments, they help us progress and get better!
1 props
