Hey everyone,
here’s my mix of Glenn McPhee – “ A Sailor One More “

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cdvRaxt4Q1X5SeO1UgGcG2umrivUPhkD/view?usp=sharing

I used some effect on the guitar, and make some panning, eQ, and so on.
Thanks for comment, i'm a beginner ;)

Hi Lucien,

Nice to hear your mix. Maybe it's a little bass heavy. And everything is quit dry, flute and bagpipes could have some 'space'.And the leadvocal sometimes drowns a little specialy when he go's in the low register. Cheers!

Hi Lucien,

as a challenge, try to do a whole mix with nothing but faders and panning. Your goal is to make it so that you can hear each element.

Think of the drum as your canvas. It is the loudest instrument, with the highest (cymbals) and lowest (kick) sounds. All your other instruments have to find their place within the borders the drum gives you.

Hey Lucien, cool mix! The drums are pretty quiet and I think they could benefit from a good boost of about 4-6dB to help give the song more drive/energy
