Hello everyone

here is my approach to the song "Back To The Nineties"
It was a bit difficult due to the fact that it was live. the guitar
sounds to me strange. There fore I put an amp-plugin on it.

To begin with, I would weaken the frequencies from 200 to six 600 to remove turbidity and the "box" in the drum kit (snare drum and toms), I would also make the snare drum and voice a little quieter and the guitar louder in places

Don't take my criticism very seriously as it's just my opinion
In any case , success !

Hello Klaus, nice mix :). Enjoyed it. For me, the guitars fight each other a little bit.

Hey Klaus, nice mix! The drum section is too loud compared to the vocals and the guitars and the toms too resonant.. cool effect on the guitars (Flanger?)

Klaus, I'm thinking the drums need some high freq to balance them out. Maybe the rest of the kit could catch up to the snare too? Also the left side guitar is perhaps a bit loud or needs some 2 ,4,5k removed so it doesn't seem as loud in the mix. Just some minor fixes imo.

Hey @Klaus Ferretti , These drums needed a lot of attention in the boxy area. That's what's making the snare poke out like that. Also, the floor tom sounds heavily compressed, there's a real boing to it. I'm not saying it's bad, just very interesting.

Did you try the referencing technique to reset your ears?
