Hi all. Here's my mix of Bruks - “Kak Tvoi Dela, Vova?”

Cool song. I think I heard some English in there at some point. I don't know if it's just me but he also has that range in his voice that makes it kinda hard to get to sink in. Anyways it was fun like all the others. Let me know what it sounds like in your system. Thanks.

Hey Leigh! I'd lower the drum section a bit and give more importance to the vocals, I hear a bit of "boominess" on the lows, between kick and bass, the snare seems thin and the hats a bit edgy, for me.. good mix! ;P

Hi Leigh, it is really good. The drums have a very special sound. Uncommon but good, I think.

Hey @Leigh #111 , Great mix. The first thing that I noticed, if you carefully listen to the drummers kick food, he/she/they are a little heavy every now and then. that makes a little poke in the ~50 hz range. You could even pull the kick down a bit to balance with the snare.

Did you mean to fade it out so quickly at the end?

Thanks for the comments everyone. Mark, yes I just killed it. Not really into the ending. I'm doing a lot of other music right now, just trying to keep the mix work load small. And thanks for the mention about the kick. I'll be more aware now.
So I hear this mix as pretty clear but slightly mid range - ish. I'm testing an extreme high passing theory I have. I'm looking for a sweet spot where I get all the clarity and power of the drums - who cares about the rest of the instruments. ha ha Still a work in progress.
