Happy Sunday-

Here's my mix of Street Noise - Revelations
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ukf08wkp2dgamhl/street%20noise%20-%20revelation.wav?dl=0

I tried layering multiple reverbs and delays on the vocal to give it a larger space in the mix. Struggled for a while with the kick drum and settled on making it much quieter - really all of the drums ended up quieter than when I started. I used Kazrog's True Iron on the guitars to give them a bit more attitude. I also tried the new smart:comp 2 plugin in this mix - liking it so far, would be curious if anyone else has thoughts on it?

Always appreciate the feedback and looking forward to listening to everyones!

Hi Brian . Yes the drums are far back in the mix. have a look at eq'ing some of the mud from the instruments to create separation then add reverb. I find mixing in mono from the outset really helps me in this. go to stereo when you feel you want to start panning

Hey Brian, good mix! I agree with Jeremy on the drums and the mud, for me the bass and the guitars could be lowered a bit ;P
