And here we go, this is the link for my mix of ''Santa´´:

Please feel free to comment what you are think about it. I made this mix in a regularly approach with: Rough Mix, Clean everything, technical EQing and Compressing, musicial EQing and Compressing, Saturation, Modulation Effects, Reverb and Delays and then Master everything a little bit for a steady sound and -12 db RMS.

Thanks!

I know it's a taste thing, but the modulation effects on the guitars are over the top for me. The effects make the mix quite busy and draw attention to themselves and away from the vocal performances.

It sounds to me like most everything is nearly up the middle with modulation and reverb/delay on the sides. It's definitely a different take on the genre. :) I think you could uncrowd it a little up the center to deal with the low mid build up as well.

Hi Daniel! I'm intrigued by the modulation (chorus/phaser?). It almost sounds like the whole mix has the effect. it might be better on only 1 or 2 elements. As Ron pointed out, it sounds quite crowded in the middle. Perhaps try panning some instruments out to the sides would free up the space in middle.

Overall, though, I think you have a good balance on the instruments. The vocals sit nicely, as do the backing vocals.

Nice work!

Thanks a lot guys! As i write i recommend the modulation effect, i hear the problem way better if i listen to the song on my smartphone, it's not easy to hear at my mixing studio because there the modulation sounds not so strong...think it was a problem to mix the whole project on one day instead of give it a second day for checking :D
I will try to concentrate more on the panning next time and keep this mix as a reference :)

Thanks guys for your help!
