Here is my mix of Bruks – “Kak Tvoi Dela, Vova?”

Groovy song.. Had fun with the jazzy piano.

Created some space using reverb effects and stereo delay on the guitar and great fun with the guitar solo.

Split the guitar on to different tracks in places and treated them with stereo delay to add width

Found it hard to get the vocals to sit right

light compression on the final mix

hope you enjoy it :-)

Hello Jeremy! I really like the overall balance in your mix. My only comments relate to my taste. I think the delay on vocal is interesting but perhaps could be limited to certain (eg quitter) parts; otherwise it could be adding to an already busy mix. I also think the wah effect towards end of guitar solo does not sound very natural. But once again great mix!!

Ok the first thing that pops out at me is the guitar tone. Def too much 2k-5k ish in the right side guitar and maybe the other guitar too. I think if you tame those your mix is going to sound much better. Maybe some of that in the hats in the one part also. Food for thought

Hey Jeremy, the guitars are a bit overpowering and I'd like to hear more punch from the drums, the lows needs more energy.. nice one! ;P

Hey @Jeremy Munns , The mix could use some more power in the bottom end. Maybe you went a little heavy on the HPF? Guitars are fizzy, did you try to reamp them?

really like the OOOOoooooohs!
