Anybody know of a FAQ for the games in the audio workout? I know I at least have questions that others have probably figured out. For instance:
- What do you listen for to tell the difference between 2:1 and 8:1 compression?
- Is it humanly possible to hear delay that's less than around 80 ms? When I play that game and it's giving me a choice between a delay of, say, 40 ms and 20 ms, I can't tell the difference at all.

Thanks for any help!

2:1 - 8:1 - I'd suggest you listen to how much more smashed the snare becomes at 8:1 compared to 2:1, cuz the low ratio is more about evening out the transients whereas 8:1 is more about character and smack, it kind of feels like the sandwich is getting tighter and tighter but there's a nice slam to it, compare when u get those two options, compare then 20 times before choosing and listen, don't look at the numbers, just close your eyes and listen to 2:1 for 20 seconds and then switch to 8:1 and listen for 20 seconds and then go back to 2:1, in a week time you will get the hang of it and you'll start hearing/feeling the difference

yes, it is humanly possible to hear the delay difference below 80ms, down to 10-15 ms it's possible, and below 15 ms it gets very quantum but I believe there are a few people out there who can still tell the difference, however it becomes an obsession or comes down to some hyper-gifted ears which is not necessary for music production/mixing

hope that helps buddy :)
