Hello everyone. I'm currently trying to progress in Reverb Wizard. I'm faced with the fact that I can't calmly hear the reverb in the guitar. It's easy enough when there are pauses. The tail is clearly audible in the pauses. At the same time, it is not clear what to listen to when there are no pauses. Which aspects should I pay attention to first?

Try listening to differences in either:

1. When the reverb starts.

2. How much reverb there is when it is active (Mix).

3. How the tail sound when the raw sound stops (what you described).

Sometimes you can't hear it but one just feels different. Intuition goes a long way here.

Good luck! =)

Yeah what John said for sure. For me, too, something either sounds more dry or wet, thinner or fuller, shorter or longer. I've switched at beginning of song, mid or end to catch any audible difference! Lately I've been just practicing more patience by sitting on a sound longer before switching to the other so my ear gets used to it and easier to spot a difference. Good luck man!
