Pay attention to the snare and how crispy it sounds.

Softer transients (initial time of the hit) mean faster attack times means 'more compression'. (This is what you mainly should focus on in this game!)

More ambient noise and less dynamics result from a higher compression ratio, which again means that the sound is more compressed

I got a tip from my professor in my Ear Training class that may also help; listen to it at low volumes. It's easier to hear compression taking place between two tracks when they're at a lower volume. I'd also recommend the video Compressor Designer GEEKS OUT on DRUM COMPRESSION! on YouTube, dude's got an excellent explanation on the differences in a track when utilizing compression. Hope this helps!
