Making it my goal to get the Golden Ears Award ASAP! Out of curiousity, how long did that take you? What's ur average level on different games? Can u get Golden Ears with a not so acoustically treated room and a pair of hs5's or Sennheiser 250bt headphones? Thanks!
Don't have monitors, so I always use my quite average headphones, AKG K271 MkII. I think it took me 2-3 weeks doing my daily workout to go from silver to gold. I don't think a level average makes much sense, but mine is around 28 on general 17 games. On rhythm games it goes up to 109. Hope it helps and go for it!
Mi Opinión es 1º es que uses unos auriculates que no sean muy baratos porque con los monitores y la acústica del Home Studio es imposibles sacar diferencias cuando los sonidos a escuchar hablamos de décimas y lo 2º es que depende de la dificultad de los juegos que elijas cuando más dificil sea el juego conseguirás más puntos.Yo te reconmendaria El DB King el Compresionist y cuando te encuentre capaz le tiras al Freedback Eleminator y verás como suben tus puntos
Very good initiative and good luck for the Golden Ears! I was able to get the Golden Ears pretty quickly thanks to the reverb game and the two compression exercises. I played by preference of games to start, my advice is that you choose the exercises that you like the most, then try the others. I use a simply Sony Mdr 7506 headset with no sound card (just my audio output from my PC) and it works well for me. For the acoustics of a poorly treated room, I don't recommend it. I'm curious about the same thing. I just got my silver ears award and I'v been playing for 6 weeks. I don't know if this is fast but it feels fast. I did have ear training with other apps. Quiztones and Train Your Ear EQ edition. That I have done on and off for a few years so maybe thats why Its been faster for me. But I have no idea Id like to know the same thing. I just make sure every day I pass at least one level.
I spent 3 hours on Reverb game. My average level is 15, highest is Reverb lvl 63 (99.3%). I got Gold using an inexpensive pair of earbuds, so you can most definitely!
Grow 1% a day, and you'll be 37x better in a year!
