Hey all!
Is anyone familiar with Eve audio monitors? I'm on Yamaha HS8 and want to upgrade to Eve's SC208. Both with 8inch dynamics, so I hope that the transition process will be smooth. But maybe somebody have experience with any of Eve audio monitors?
Thanx.)

If you want to place them near a wall, I would go for some older used Genelecs (1031A) or Neumanns.
If you got some space between your wall and your speakers, I would go for Dynaudio LYD-48s or newer Genelecs instead.

I guess you have option to return in 14days, if that's applicable in your country :) so you should try out yourself, because it's very subjective experience

I plan to upgrade next summer. Right now I use Focal Alpha 65. To safe myself money in the long run, I will upgrade directly to the 3-way monitor HEDD Audio Type 20 Mk2. That said: Their HEDD Type 07 MK2 would be a great competitor to the Eve's. Similar price and also AMT tweeter.
Would highly recommend to have a listen to different pairs before purchase. Also check for features of the monitors. For example you have the option to close the ports of the HEDDs.
Didn't want to shill speakers here, just a passionate amateur's suggestion. Maybe you find it helpful :)

Domas Astrauskas, it's not an option for me, unfortunately.)

Alex M, HEDD and EVE are both created by Adam's founders.)

I've tested the speakers mentioned in detail in an controlled environment and those really are good speakers. If you are willing to spend ten times the price, Geithains sound even better.

The EVEs I didn't test in such a controlled environment up to now. If you are into the ADAM-style ribbon tweeter type, the HEDDs are from what I've heard the best option - just make sure to use the digital AES input.

Unless you get a really great deal on those EVEs, I don't really see why you should go for them.

For that price look into APS Klasiks, heard nothing but good things about them

Wolfgang Robinig, thank you a lot! If I'll get little bit more money maybe I'll think about HEDDs. They are little bit out of my budget for monitors.
Thank you!
