Hello dear producers,
If you read this, please give me a solution because I'm stuck at level 23 in the Peak meter. Is this normal?
By the way, what's your level in this game?

I suck with EQ and I only soundgym once a week and I only do actual mixing a couple of times a month so i'm only at level 14 so far.

One thing you could do to get better is change the way you play the game : when you hear the sound, don't look at the proposed answers and just say out loud this must be 1,2k or something, and try to guess that way instead of choosing between proposed answers. Try to hear and analyze without the help of proposed answers.
This helped me a lot.
Try to imagine the answer before looking at them and then pick the answer that is closer to the one you imagined.
It's kind of counter intuitive but try to get better at hearing and analyzing what you hear without looking at the answers, so that you develop your hearing skills, instead of trying to win at soundgym and pick the right answer. This will make your hearing better (which the goal of soundgym... Who cares about your level at game XYZ...), and incidentally will make you better at soundgym.
Closing your eyes when listening is a good way to force yourself to hear and analyze without being influenced by the proposed answers.

Also in parallel to soundgym, you can practice with train your ears EQ software.

Hi. If this is a peak master, try to remember associations or some landmarks in the sound. Gradually, you'll begin to hear transition frequencies between them. And constant practice... Although, it's not easy to get to level 23, which means you're already hearing something;) The rest is a matter of time... I'm at level 22.
