I think your arrangement nails the title! But i Think You limited it way too much on the master. I think the start of the reasoning is the arrangement, which is very pumpy (lot of dynamic range) which starts in the arrangement when you got many relatively empty spots :^) Sure compression can help, but it doesnt fix the problem totally i think. And the 2nd reason is the Soundchoice, which sounds like a bell on frequency spectrum. Suggestion: layering more, so the sounds take a wider part of the spectrum and you can make it quieter while still being impactful in the mix. (Also Reverb, Distortion and compression help there, but if the problem doesnt exist in first place, you dont have to solve it). Cheers , hope this is helpful ^^
