Hey everyone! I was wondering how I can improve my sound? I've been producing and making beats for over 4 years, but I feel like I'm not really improving much these latest months.

Chill track. I would like to tame the snare first. It’s louder and sharper than the other elements so distracts from the vibe. The drums overall I think could be re-worked maybe with a Splice sample or two. Other than that, maybe add another interesting element/instrument like a male vocal or synth lead for more melody.

I had the same feeling. I liked the synth, ear candy, and vocals, but the drums feel too robotic. I think your kick and snare could benefit from layering, bringing some punch to the kick and some low end to the snare.
Take my comments with a grain of salt, I’m just a noob myself!
