I'm finding a lot of little mixing tips here and there on the internet but it definitely lacks structure. Does anyone have advice on how to approach getting a well rounded mixing education? Any good books or resources? Thanks!
I like the soundgym learning feature. Its a good compilation of informative youtube videos. The hyperbits masterclass is waaaay overpriced: D seriously, who pays that considering the payoffs in todays music industry?
If you are just starting out, take a look at https://www.homerecordingmadeeasy.com/ . There are plenty of courses for beginner/intermediate mixers and there are pretty good. If you want a membership with monthly mixes, take a look at https://www.mixingmadeeasy.net (made by the same mix engineer).
Stay away from the Hyperbits Masterclass. This is my experience with them Hyperbits Masterclass is a total rip-off. Overpriced content you can find for free online!
Don’t waste your money on this course. They didn’t even honour their refund policy!
Their 14-day money-back guarantee is a scam—calculated by hours, not days!
Save your money! Hyperbits offers nothing new or worth the outrageous price.
Worst experience ever with an online course—overhyped and unfair refund practices.
Customer service was rude and dismissive when I asked for a refund. Avoid at all costs!
You can learn more from free YouTube tutorials than from this overpriced class.
Ask for advice, talk with experts, get feedback, and help colleagues to improve mix and mastering skills.
