@Ross Williams, On the very practical level I now understand that I can not hear clearly what's happening below 50hz and I should listen more on the big ATC that we got here as a reference (I work with Amphion One15)
I have heard a fantastic Fairchild compressor emulation for the first time, and it sounds amazing and very unlike any emulation I know.
Seeing and listening to a top engineer who master one of the albums I adore (PortisHead Dummy) , working in an amazing room with the best monitoring system and gear out there is very inspiring.
