EngineerFest, Las Vegas 2025
It was awesome getting to visit The Hideout Recording Studio and learn all sorts of mixing tricks, and to meet my mentors and fellow TRE members in person

A really enjoyable experience. Kind of feels like a let-down being back in the home studio after that! Nice photo. Thanks for sharing.

Nice, I didn't even hear about it. I am not far from Vegas. Maybe next year. Seems like it was fun. Who put it on?

Glad you could make it to Vegas, Kevin. Alas, I could not! See you in TRE!

Thanks everyone, and Krexx a trick I learned when trying to decide what type of reverb to use is to put it on your mix bus and listen to how everything responds to it. Typically the slower/calmer the music is, the more decay time and depth you might want but it can vary. And Jace, this event was hosted by Mastering.com with The Reverse Engineer program. I don't think they'll be doing this event at Vegas each year. They have periodic in person events though. Not sure if they're open to non TRE members but it could be worth looking into
