On the other hand I don't really understand the points ranking system. It is marked 99.97 percentile (better than 100 pcent of users) to my Dr compressor exercice, and also there are better IPS rankings than me...
Congrats! But you should take a look at yourself in a mirror from time to time, because being better than the 100% implies that either you can't exist or you need to be better than yourself at any moment in time. Kind of a Schrödinger Ranking with a twist.
@Felipe Berto Thank you very much Felipe. Well spoken! You seem very motivated, it's already a beautiful step and I'm sure you'll be able to do it. I wish you all the best =) May the passion never leave you!
To make things clear: I prefer the option in which you do exist AND your ranking is the highest (although there's another you around scoring a little less, that's fine for me).
But I have one question: Who the elf are you, @Lio LM ?? What planet did you come from? Getting 5M with the number of workouts and games played is amazing (at least according to my stats). You've done a great job. Congratulations again.👍
@Cuantas Vacas Hello! Wah your message fills me with emotion, I thank you with all my heart. To be honest I am still surprised by the result... When I saw the 100 percent I thought that maybe there was a mistake or that I didn't know how to interpret it, especially since there are here geniuses in many exercises, including you! This flatters me even more coming from you! For the presentation, I am a composer, digital artist, and a great nature lover. I play all keyboards (+ pianos as well as organ) I was a teacher for a short time, and I come here so I can mix and master my productions in the rules of art. I do a lot of training in parallel, so I give myself the assets to highlight the whole. I thank you warmly once again! And I return you the compliment on your faculties! I confess to have been impressed many times by the positive feedback you had the merit, and in my turn I ask you from which planet you come? and moreover, you seem to me to be a person with a lot of spirit, I like very much your unique mood ^-^ I wish you a wonderful day!
I don't think that with 5 million you can have an SPI of one hundred percent if you look at the Gym you will see that there are several colleagues with more SPI than you, therefore you must have an error on your page
@Salvador España Gomez Because this number is formatted to one decimal, all numbers which are more than 99.95 rounded to 100.0. That means that every 2000 member will have 100% shown. So there are colleagues on SoundGym who also have 100% :)
@Lio LM the similar story with your Dr Compressor ranking - the number in round brackets has more rough rounding so it shows 100 :)
@Vicenç Roca Ahah you are adorable! Thank you so much! Your spontaneity warms my heart =D The ultimate challenge would be to play with your eyes closed on roller skates while trying to climb up a hill ahah 😂 Have a beautiful evening! Thank you again =)
@Mina Mixes Thanks again, it's very kind of you to encourage me. Yes, that's what I do day after day, even when it's hard. I wish you all the best Mina! 🌞
Work those ear trigger points, also when a dog barks full out in your ear from 30 cm without noticing. That aside, what do you use for listening device(s)? Type of speakers or headphones. Correction software etc. I'm very curious
@Melchior Van Dijk Good afternoon Melchior, thank you for your Original comment! ^-^ For Soundgym I only use my headphone Sony Mdr 7506 (no correction softwares) It may not be the ideal in the absolute but with time it works very well for me =)
@Ygor Sobrinho Hello Igor ^-^ Dr compressor was one of the first games I played! I'm at level 268 now but the percentile has curiously decreased a bit (99.93).
@Bilal Geçer I confess I didn't think I'd have so many points when I started, and I really admired those who had more than 5 million. With time and perseverance it worked out well =)
@Lio LM Thanks for youre reply man! NOT THE IDEAL!? Guess 100% is the max, maybe if you quit for a couple years it will get lower again. No I think it's about knowing you're equipment and then it doesn't matter if you have 100 or 500 dollar headphones. You've made the most of what you have and that's very impressive. Keep going!
It takes about 9 years if you play 17 games once everyday. let's say you played 17 games 3 times each everyday. still takes 3 years. And that is, if done everday. You are like an AI that was learning for years. That is crazy.
@Melchior van Dijk Yes indeed! I totally agree with that, and I've read several times that knowing your own equipment is a great asset. For the time being I don't intend to stop, I must admit I love Soundgym and the community of intelligent and available people, I learn a lot from everyone! And my goal now is to get above 99.90 for the 17 exercises (I've still got 4 more to go... I'm not giving up ^-^). Thanks for your encouragement Melchior!
@Bilal Geçer I hadn't done the math yet! So in the beginning I played just between 30 minutes to 2 hours per day. Then when I started to get a decent SPI it was more than an hour up to 3 hours on some days. Then, when I had a very good SPI, I became interested in competing with inspiration for higher-ranked players, which motivated me enormously, and I don't count the days (and nights), sometimes more than 10 hours to succed (I don't recommend it! no more social life!). Now it's between 30 minutes and 1 hour (not everydays) (now iam trying to work on my 4 weakest exercises to get above 99.90)
So where are all your points coming from? I'm over 99% on all of the games (also at 100% overall) and have an SPI at a fraction of yours. Not picking a fight, just naturally curious.
@Kirk Hilbelink Hello Kirk. I took a lot of points in several games. For example, in Feedback Eliminator, I make almost no mistakes and I can accumulate a lot of SPI points. I'm now at level 4441. Nice evening to you and congratulations on your score too, I think you're one of the top 5 or 10 players with the most SPI!
@Benjamin Jack In reality, I'm still training my ears (and learning as much as I can about mixing and mastering techniques) before I start mixing and mastering. So it's a bit early to say, but for the time being It has given me a lot of confidence and understanding in the technical stages (I understand the tools much better too) and gives me better concentration on my piano/keyboards/sample instrument playing. As well as on the details of sound etc. I really recommend continuing with Soundgym. It's a very positive experience! Happy time here! 😄
