Hi guys, I've been playing sound gym for a couple of years now but I never understood the monthly championships. How do people get so many sound coins? I can only seem to get 30 a day...

Ah I don't really play BeatRace, I'm not here to make beats. Is that the only way? I'm a mix engineer!

@Romano G Looks like a typical leaderboard. You know, Beto at the top.

@Ziggy Shpakovsky Thanks for pointing that out, though I'm convinced those other posts weren't showing yesterday... Cheers for the answers everyone, I may see you in the Olympics, though I'm not so keen on the competitive parts of the sound gym :)

if you are not very interested in the competitive part (in which I understand you very well), then what is the reason for the interest in the monthly championship and coins?

the championship is also pure competition ...
coins... where to use them? except for the purchase of training artists ...
but you can quickly save up for this from payments for daily training.

@Ziggy Shpakovsky was just curious really, it's been there at the bottom of the screen for years and I just wondered what it was all about/how people did it. I also dislike the in-game time-contstraints in the olympics - EQ Cheetah is my least favourite game because I really hate feeling rushed. I find that mixing music isn't really like that and that kind of pressure doesn't help me get in the zone at all.

Ralph I completely agree with you! you're right, and mixing is not like EQ Cheetah.
but it seems to me that the purpose of this game is not to simulate the process of mixing.
the goal of this game is to break down some of the barriers that come with working with frequencies. and many of these barriers are created by our own brains.
so that the brain does not have time to set these barriers, in order to learn to respond to frequency tasks almost reflexively, without thinking (how we walk or breathe), such games serve this purpose (with a time limit).
and it seems to me that the game, to some extent, fulfills this goal

this does not mean at all that we need to mixing, in the future, without thinking.
of course with thinking! 😀 ))) it's just that the brain will already have wider boundaries of its capabilities (to other barriers 😄))).
