I don't know if this is a big deal or not but this just happened to me...

Thank you kind people!! This was really nice timing and felt like a hug from the universe in a way...I had been feeling quite discouraged lately...almost every time I would mix something, I would just not like the result no matter what. (not to mention some really heavy personal struggles for about the last 10 months) It's nice to know that sometimes hard work and dedication can pay off. And even though I may not be seeing the results in my mixes yet, I have made progress in some tangible way. And you all being happy for me here, has lifted my spirits and given me what I needed to keep moving forward. THANK YOU 💜

What's your secret? I can tell the ones when they actually have distinct reverbs, but the ones that don't have much are really difficult for me.

@Marty Howard I have found that by clicking back and forth rapidly, comparing the far left to the middle and then the far right to the middle, I can hear a sort of click that happens when the reverb is different and when I can't hear that click happen, if I listen with my eyes covered, and then go back to the rapid switching between the samples, I can oftentimes, once my ears have adjusted to the sound, I hear that click. And when that doesn't work, I just listen to each sample and feel the space around the sound. Sometimes I can feel a subtle sensation in my ears that is different from the other samples and I've learned I can trust that.
